I thought I posted this comment last night, but it seems like I didn't (and now I have to pay karma to post it) but aren't we just encouraging belief bias this way? (which has an additional negative utility on top of the loss of positive utility from the discussion and loss of utility because people see us as a heavily-censored community and form another type of negative opinion of us)
