I've never read his OkCupid profile, but I must admit Eliezer's beliefs are certainly ... correlated ... with LW group norms. Not perfectly, of course. But he wrote the sequences, which anyone posting here is expected to have read, he founded the site, he's the highest-status member of this community - when he believes something, people at least consider it.
