Some non-fiction books I really liked recently that might interest Lesswrong:
Ubersleep: Nap-Based Sleep Schedules and the Polyphasic Lifestyle
Procrastination: Why You Do It, What To Do About It
The 10,000 Year Explosion: How Civilization Accelerated Human Evolution
I liked that third one ("The 10,000 Year Explosion"), which suggests that human evolution has been very much happening in the last 10K years; I wonder if that's a mainstream believe now, and/or if there other books about this.
This is the monthly thread for posting media of various types that you've found that you enjoy. I find that exposure to LW ideas makes me less likely to enjoy some entertainment media that is otherwise quite popular, and finding media recommended by LWers is a good way to mitigate this. Post what you're reading, listening to, watching, and your opinion of it. Post recommendations to blogs. Post whatever media you feel like discussing!
