How will your investment create the future wealth? If you intend loan it and create interest, how much harm will those loans do (through environmental degradation) over 12k years?

If you instead invest that money right now in something that maximizes good, rather than investing it to maximize returns for 12k years first, would you expect higher total good?

Why 12k years, and not 12k+5, or 50? It hardly seems like a likely place for a global or even local maximum.
