Not sure "more cautious" is true. More like: "one result from the July workshop is something we should debate publishing, just like MIRI debated publishing the earlier probabilistic logic result."
debate publishing because you're unsure about the results being correct or unsure about the safety of them being widespread?
So I hear MIRI had another math workshop this past week. Given the recent results, I'm on the edge of my seat to hear how it went. Has anything been written up? Would anyone in the know like to comment on how it went?
