That's not the right question. In order for facts to be useful, they must connect to something. Music is not a fact, except in the sense that "Music exists, therefore I expect to hear it under this circumstance."

Math is an expression of what is constantly happening around us. Music is a thing, not a belief. "What good is Music?" Well, what good are trees? What good is love?

You put music into the wrong catagory. Music is a thing, not a belief.

The what good is love thing wasn't meant to be philosophical, it was just an example.
