That's not the right question. In order for facts to be useful, they must connect to something. Music is not a fact, except in the sense that "Music exists, therefore I expect to hear it under this circumstance."
Math is an expression of what is constantly happening around us. Music is a thing, not a belief. "What good is Music?" Well, what good are trees? What good is love?
You put music into the wrong catagory. Music is a thing, not a belief.
Define music.
'e probably means the set of sounds that have certain structural properties, and that humans find enjoyable to listen to.
The question is, what definition of music could change the meaning of my explanation?
(Not implying that there isn't one, just wondering, and making you wonder too.)
