Not gold, specifically, but if I catch your intended meaning, yes.

I meant to apply the "not" to the "specifically," rather than to the "gold." Gold isn't what I normally think of being used as a computing substrate, though I suppose it could get used that way if we use up all the more abundant elements as we convert the solar system into a Dyson sphere (AFAIK, there may be a reason I'm unaware of not to do that).
