All the world is a stage.
This is as comprehensive a test of rationality skills as you'll ever be able to design.
By the time you've gotten to that second question, you've already lost sight of the goal.
By the time you've gotten to the third question, you're on par with common wisdom.
There's no clever shortcut that will abdicate your responsibility of thorough thought; AGI is considered to have the potential for superintelligence because thought is such a low cost resource for it.
LessWrong and the people surrounding it skillfully avoid competition of all effective varieties.
I don't follow. What does "All the world is a stage" have to do with anything? What do you mean by 'competition of all effective varieties' and why should anyone avoid it? What is the goal, and how is testing a rationality skill losing sight of it?
Here's an internal dialogue I just had.
Q: How do we test rationality skills?
A: We haven't come up with a comprehensive test yet.
Q: Maybe we can test some part of rationality?
A: Sure. For example, you could test resistance to akrasia by making two contestants do some simple chores every day. The one who fails first, loses.
Q: That seems like a pointless competition. If I'm feeling competitive, why would I ever skip the chores and lose?
A: Whoa, wait. If competitiveness can cure akrasia, that's pretty cool!
Now we just need to figure out how to make people more competitive in the areas they care about...
