I guess no. It would solve the article length, but not the density of information.
If you could make some parts shorter without losing information, do it. Otherwise, just add the summary.
I guess it's not technically possible now, but it would be nice to make the quotes collapsed, opening after a click; because the quotes are 20% of the article.
