Another use of your LinkedIn Profile is to show your support for (or help advertise) nonprofits and charities you support. For example, I have MIRI, AMF, and others listed in the "Organizations I Support" section.
Take a look at my profile for an example (and send me an invitation while you're at it. You never know when someone might know someone you want to get in contact with.)
