10 repetitions is too many (see below concerning 'too')

If Y is 'too' X, that is not great. If it's great, then Y is not too X, but can be very X.

I understand that by 'spectrum' you mean autistic spectrum, but the point of that word is the continuum, which means it's not a quality but a parameter. You don't say 'It's too temperature', but 'It's too hot'. Here, you could say 'My brother and father are way out on the autism spectrum.'

Of course, I don't think that position on the autistic spectrum is really the problem here, so let's not muddy waters.
