What about sea temperatures? From what I've seen, including that fills in the missing heat.
Thanks for the pointer. I'll look into this and discuss it in more detail in my subsequent post about the mechanisms and theories involved.
I took a look at the deep ocean. It seems like one of the more promising theories of the warming pause. I'm not in a position to have a personal opinion of whether it is the correct theory. I'll probably touch on this more in one of my forthcoming posts.
