“Meditations On Moloch” on Slate Star Codex finally convinced me to donate to MIRI.
General comment on that post: I think it really deserves to be officially canonized somewhere. For being moving, beautiful, clear, and lucid, of course; but mostly for introducing, naming, and explaining a very useful concept.
May I ask why? I don't immediately see the connection.
