As long as a chatbot does not understand what it is chatting about it is not worth real debate. The "pass" is more an indication how easily we get cheated. When we think while speaking we easily start waffling. This is normal human behaviour, same as silly jumps in topic. Jumping between topics was this chatbots trick to hide its non-understanding.
