I don't enjoy doing this and do not want to continue with it.

The easiest way to not continue with something is to not continue with it.

Someone Is Wrong On The Internet can be a surprisingly powerful force.

Someone Is Wrong On The Internet can be a surprisingly powerful force.

The person who is Being Wrong is not exerting any force. The force is from within. This is the only place that a solution can come from.

The subject of "can be" is the entire phrase "Someone Is Wrong On The Internet", not just "someone". And this "external events aren't a cause of your mental state" stuff is bullshit. Trying to hack your mind is hardly the only solution; avoiding triggering interactions can also be a solution, and likely a more effective one.
