Confirmation of the statement that actuaries earn six figures with no formal education necessary and with a good job market:

This seems to confirm that you technically don't need more than the exams, although a degree of some sort is a definite help.
Another page from the same site confirms the six figures (at least for experienced fellows).
This pdf interview seems to more or less confirm the job market claim.

I'm curious if anybody here has actually done this sort of thing?
