I really enjoyed Zendo last time I played it so we're doing it again. The rules will be explained at the event, but in summary, one person is the 'Master', who has a secret rule in mind, and their 'Students' must guess the Master's rule in order to win. Further explanation is at the Wikipedia page.
If you're coming from Canberra proper, there is questionable bus service by Deanes over the state border, but you can't really catch one back at that time of night. I can't guarantee I'll be able to give anyone a lift but you're very welcome to ask.
Note that there are two friendly cats who shed.
