There's a story by Greg Egan, "Transition Dreams", about the subjective experience of being uploaded, which is one form that cryogenic revival might take. Not a dystopia, as far as I recall, but an interesting view of the matter.

ah, my mistake, I tried to use standard reddit-style spoilers but it treated it as a link.
The text does however turn up as a mouseover.
I don't think HungryHobo meant it to go anywhere in particular. It looks like a dummy link with the spoiler in its
titleattribute so the spoiler appears when the link's hovered over.Ah, I had only hovered the link long enough to read its target in the status bar and moved the mouse away too soon for the title text to appear.
