WHEN: 19 February 2016 07:00:00PM (-0500)

I'm new here. If any of you know a good place to meet and would like to mention it in the comments, it'd be much appreciated. If there's a better time, too, that can be changed, too. Otherwise, we'll meet at the central campus library, Friday, February 19th, at 7 PM

Alright, we'll be meeting 7 pm at Amer's at 611 Church St, Ann Arbor, MI 48104. They have deli sandwiches and frozen yogurt.

It's right off the east side of Central Campus, across from the Pizza House we've met at before.

I understand there's another Amer's off of South Campus. That's not the one.

See you all there :)

OK, still 7pm, right? See you.

Thanks for organizing! It was lots of fun.

I want to say that this article is amazing, nice written and include approximately all vital infos how to save my marriage

I'll be somewhat late as I have a rehearsal that apparently needed to be Friday at 6:30. But I'll try to be there by 7:45.

I'm new to the LW community but local, so I'll try my best to make it, and I'll bring my roommate. We'll think about where might be good to meet... Is the ability to buy food at the location important? Okay if there's food nearby?

How about the Harlan Hatcher Graduate Libary. University of Michigan, 913 S University Ave, Ann Arbor, MI 48109

Alternatively, for food, Amer's has been mentioned, which is at 611 Church St, Ann Arbor, MI 48104, right off campus. It looks like central campus to me, but in any case, there's the address.

Or we could go anywhere else anyone might recommend.

Note that if you want it to be at Amer's you should make sure people know which one! There's an Amer's on State as well.

I am a current UMich graduate student and so could reserve one of the group-study-rooms for a future time if that's desirable. I will do some scouting to see if they are appropriate, and will need a bit more warning as they get booked a week or two in advance.

Amer's sounds good to me. I'm not aware of any good space in Hatcher Grad Library where meeting and talking would be easy and comfortable, but I don't know the whole story, so maybe there is one. Shapiro Undergraduate has Bert's Cafe and some nearby areas that might be workable, but I'd still prefer Amer's.

Bound_up, please set up a poll soon, or make a unilateral decision kinda-soon, so that the place is settled a good while before the actual event.

On the advice of a new friend, I think that i will be coming to this, but will need some help navigating, since I currently live in Chicago and have been to Ann Arbor exactly once in my life 5 years ago.

Hi Paul, I'm the other Paul (the p in torekp stands for Paul). Glad you made it.

Which central campus library? The building indicated on the map is not a library. (FWIW, I think the last few were at the Ann Arbor District Library.)

I only know of 1 at AADL. Folks found it somewhat uncomfortable and wanted to be able to have food and drink. Several were held at Pizza House, just a bit off south campus.

Pizza House will likely be busy because of the hockey game. Maybe Amer's across the street? They have a large variety of deli sandwiches and frozen yogurt.

Oh, was it only the one? I wasn't at the one before that one, so I forgot, oops. Yeah there have been a few at Pizza House. Noisy though. (Meanwhile, we still don't know which library Bound_up intended.)
