WHEN: 04 February 2018 04:00:00PM (+1100)

WHERE: 80 Harbourside esplanade, Docklands Vic

REMINDER Less Wrong Melbourne dojos are now every two weeks, so you can put them as a recurring event in your calendar. (I'm doing the announcements once the details are confirmed, but hopefully we'll get into a rhythm of announcing them well in advance.)

ANNOUNCEMENT:

Sunday 4 Feb, 4pm.

The topic of our third Less Wrong Melbourne dojo in 2018 will be algorithms to live by, a presentation by Patrick Robotham discussing the book of the same name by Brian Christian and Tom Griffiths.

We'll also be talking about what's current in rationality and continue our accountability practices to improve your odds of winning at life.

We meet at the Hub in Docklands from 4 pm for a 4:30 pm start. The venue is just a block away from Southern Cross station and has stops for the tram lines 35, 70 and 75 nearby.

The dojo will be followed by dinner at a venue in the city to be announced, we will book a table once we have a sufficient estimate of rsvps.

• What to bring Optional: a snack to share. (Healthy is good.)

• Important to know We are friendly and welcoming. We are also very nerdy.

QUESTIONS? LOST? Call one of the organisers, e.g. Eike on 0405 674 835. (Chris will not be there this time. He's just doing the Meetup announcement.)
