No, a computer is a thing which computes - a general-purpose logical operations performer.

Which is why the individuals in WWII who performed extended mathematical calculations (mostly women) were called 'computers'. The term only began being applied to devices only in the vernacular when the Electronic Age resulted in many electronic computers being built.

So your whole complaint is about a formatting issue? If the line break were removed, you'd cease perceiving the comment as an insult? So why didn't you remove the line break instead of deleting the text?
