Hopefully, even if you're going to take the evopsych view--which is entirely beside the point--don't you think there's more to morality than status? And even if there weren't, Eliezer's "fluff" is no more in conflict with objective reality than "maximization of persistence odds" is.

Ian, you're being choosy with your examples. There are lots of mutations that do nothing; a few molecules of nonpoison will have no noticeable effect on a woman.
