Good comment. I would really like to hear an answer to this.
To me Eliezer's thoughts are extremely helpful, they literally changed my life and I'm a student, not a rocket scientist. But I guess you need an IQ above 120, to follow Eliezer's arguments. So for the the average person with IQ 100 Eliezer's considerations won't be useful.
