Cassandra, I went through something like that, but it was something like age 15-19, not a fast episode during childhood! Your story intrigues me and I am interested in knowing more; also whether you're otherwise a mathematical thinker and whether you've read/enjoyed Godel, Escher, Bach.

Robin, it seems to me that a fairly stable coalition has gained control of my fingers, so presumably you can treat with that if you're interested in my blog posts, or any source code I generate? Or to look at it another way, I understand (have a story about?) what happened inside my mind as a result of crossing the reflective Rubicon - I became more detached from emotions I put outside my boundary, and also somewhat more detached from all emotions as a result of thinking about where to put them. What happens to me if I start regarding myself as a coalition? Is it something I should want to do, and why?

Davis, what you were saying made sense to me, so I'm confused as to what you could be confused about.
