And what a bizarre thing a human must be, a mind born entirely of evolution, a mind that was not created by another mind.

Minds were involved on the causal pathway leading to human minds. Trivially, if you scoop out a mother's brain at birth or a father's brain at birth and they stop being mothers and fathers - since they fail to reproduce. Minds are evidently causally involved in the process of creating minds - as this simple experiment illustrates - so this idea seems like bad poetry to me - or is at least very misleading.

The idea that humans were created by some kind of mindless process is totally wrong.
