Patri, it sure seems to me that even funding the purchase of a used cruise-ship for medical purposes will require substantial investment, of the sort that will only be available as a result of mainstream status generated through mainstream news attention. Given that, how does such news attention not constitute progress towards your goals.

I think you're grossly overestimating both the financial utility and desirability of celebrity.

Furthermore, it's far from obvious that news attention will lead to an increase in useful or positive fame.
