Lots of spillover conversation from the reading group meeting, I suspect. In particular, exactly why ought one's beliefs "pay rent in anticipated expreiences"? We discussed this a fair amount, but we never named a direct argument, and none is given in the relevant post.
Also, by popular demand from the reading group, a round of The Resistance is clearly in order.
Finally, I'd like to bat around the idea of "field trips" some more. If anyone has any ideas, leave yourself a note somewhere so you can pull 'em out on Monday.
