I don't see the purpose of such discussion. All the posts which are not criticising Roko's argument will be downvoted into oblivion. That's not a discussion, it's a monologue. The only aspect of this mess worth discussing any more is the censorship itself.
(I think it was uncalled for. We have downvoting for a reason.)
'Oblivion' is not true oblivion. Heavily downvoted comments are still visible if you look. I found myself peeking at negative karma comments so often that I have simply eliminated the visibility threshold.
True. Still, it's an incentive not to make posts that will negatively impact your karma.
