How many of these are easily accessible for those not in a currently academic environment? I ask because it would be helpful if a broader community could read both the SIAI stuff AND the contextual other articles, and because I've suffered slight withdrawal systems ever since leaving uni and losing my access to academic journals

Just as with Eliezer's papers that have been published in academic volumes that almost nobody buys, SIAI could publish the PDFs of the papers on their website for everyone to read, assuming permission from the journal.
