I'd like to see more people questioning orthodox assumptions, and generally more radical arguments, yet without compromising LW standards of rigor. I feel like people are too afraid to stick their necks out and seriously argue something that goes against the majority/high-status views.

I think LW has a lot of low-quality critics, which in turn may be causing it to underestimate the potential for criticism in the kinds of areas that tend not to attract low-quality critics.
