Venue: Fox and Feather, upstairs, possibly in back room #1 if it's free. Look for the LW sign.

Bayes study group: Anyone in the region interested in learning how to do Bayesian statistics is welcome to join us. We'll be using the statistical package R (http://cran.r-project.org/) as a platform, so bring your laptop if you have one. We're currently covering the binomial model with its conjugate prior, the beta distribution.

Date: Thursday June 23, 9:00am to 10:30am. NB: 9 in the morning.

Venue: Jeanne Mance Building, Tunney's Pasture. Meet me in the lobby.

Bayes study group: This session will run in parallel but slightly delayed relative to the sessions at Tunney's Pasture.
