San Diego Meetup?

0 Post author: atucker 07 August 2011 05:10AM

I'm going to be in San Diego for about a week in the near future. Would anyone be interested in doing a meetup?

I propose the 13th, 14th, or 17th.

I leave on the 20th, and would thus greatly enjoy being able to attend another meetup on one of these dates before then.

I'd be interested, and I should be able to make it any of those days. As a warning, I visit this site pretty occasionally and I don't post -- hopefully that's alright!

Where do meetings usually occur?

There isn't really a "usually" as yet. We just had our first monthly meetup, and the locale worked out nicely (except that the VGA cable for the projector was apparently missing).

And yes, it's fine that you don't visit the site often and don't post often. I don't really, either, and I poked around semi-casually for about a year before I made my first post. Last time there were some people there who had learned about Less Wrong for the first time that day!

I would attend a meetup in San Diego on the 13th and 14th. I have emailed JenniferRM and Mercurial, both of whom live in San Diego and organize meetups, to make sure they see this post.

Noted! I'm checking in with the same place as last time. I'll make some calls and then post a meetup for presumably the 14th.
