Me too. I recently got into an argument with family after I reacted skeptically to this video. Which ironically resulted in me losing my temper.

I think emotional appeals from others (especially groups) activate my longstanding anxiety around tribal contribution. I'm stuck between wanting to be seen as wise (and therefore high-status) and knowing that I don't have the low emotional arousal necessary to calmly and non-pejoratively make my argument.
