It wouldn't stop me from donating, but it's somewhat annoying that donations to US charities are not tax-deductible in Ireland. Before I spend time and money trying to find a workaround - can anyone else think of a solution?
Well, there's always the Future of Humanity Institute; I go back and forth on the relative merits of SIAI and FHI.
