There is a strong community norm against talking about politics, particularly political electioneering (community organizer v. rich business executive, etc).
It's not so much that we aren't interested in political theory as that we have observed that People go funny in the head when talking about politics.
Just a thought I had the other day; what do you think that the political ideas of conservatism have to do with cognitive bias? I mean, how much are people willing to change naturally, without arguing any points?
I know very little about all of these things, so forgive me if this is a silly thought.
