If the example is intended to be concrete rather than abstract... First understand what that line does. Shotgun debugging is seldom a good idea.

Sure. Although I was inspired to think about this Bayesian problem by an issue I was having with coding, I'm not asking about the coding problem, which I have got under control. I'm asking about the math. So it's an abstracted version of a problem I was concretely having, but the concrete problem is solved.
