Agreed. Science fiction, like any kind of fictional evidence, biases your thinking in ways that are a priori unlikely to make them more accurate. For example, science fiction prominently features technological solutions to problems, so it probably biases your thinking towards technological solutions to problems and away from, say, changes in social policy.
