Try discussing what is not a story to narrow down your definition.

But do not place too much stock in definitions. They lead to infinite regressions ('yes, but what does that mean?'). General agreement can be sufficient to proceed, and proceeding is a worthy goal. It is good to be understood, but it is better to be not misunderstood. Thus a second reason to offer negative definitions.
