You still have tyranny of the majority in the gay example, if the gays are slightly less than their maximum possible horny or would slightly prefer to try sex aboard the international space station.

Furthermore, you have an inconsistency if you have "a box with 2 people in it who happen to agree". If you treat it as two people, they have an influence of 2, if you treat it as one object, it has an influence of 1 . The brain is a spatially extended thing, you know, with two hemispheres which can be any degree of connected.
