Asking what you "should wish for" still requires you to specify what you're trying to maximize. Specifying your goal in detail has all the same risks as specifying your wish in detail, so you have the same exposure to risk.
You could possibly say "I wish for you to tell me you would wish for if you had your current intelligence and knowledge, but the same values and desires as me." That would still require just the right combination of intelligence, omniscience, and literal truthfulness on the genie's part though.
