My internship has a donation match. I want to donate to something life-extension related; tentatively looking at SENS, but I have some questions:

  • How can I quantify the expected value of money donated? The relevant metric would be "increase in the probability of me personally experiencing dramatic life extension." I have no idea how to go about estimating this, but this determines whether I want to save the money to spend on myself vs. donate it.
  • What other major reputable organizations are there in the biological life extension sphere? Are there any that could use additional money better than SENS?
