Pretending that:

*My ideas are unique and useful (because I've assimilated an unusual mix of information)

*I still have a realistic shot at becoming Elon Musk (I mean, copying his education and work style)

*It's possible to change the world without becoming a narcissistic sociopath

*Immortality-seeking won't cause decades of sanity-draining failure experiences

In other words: going to grad school, learning C++ and accounting, and loving someone sane and inspiring
