I am interested in working on game AI, and also developing models of how humans play games. A possible project in game AI is to add features to dynamic SQL which would allow dynamic SQL to be applied to game playing. But, a more "intelligent" dynamic SQL system might have broader implications for general AI. Modeling how humans play games might be a first step towards modeling human behavior in general. A better understanding of humans might help Friendly AI, but it also opens the door for a non-general "expert system" AI to cause trouble.
