tl;dr: buy Index Funds, like the Vanguard Total Stock Market Index, because money can be turned into a great many utilons after holding it for a long time.

Actually the post says: Don't buy index funds because the efficient market hypothesis isn't true.

Slight nitpick. It's actually saying, you can do better than just buying index funds, not that you shouldn't buy them.
