I don't think it's spamming. Promotion of life extension research and knowledge exchange is in all our interest. Utilitarian analysis suggests that you post is a net win.
However if you do the work to organise a conference telling people to request information via email is no good medium. Get a proper website to promote your event.
If it's worth saying, but not worth its own post (even in Discussion), then it goes here.
