I didn't figure this to be boring advice. This is a repository of it's own. I'll add a link to it from boring advice though... eg "there's lots of things that cost relatively little and can improve your life a lot... see <x>"
I don't think lots of the advice in the 'boring advice repo' is boring either :-)
