Augur -- a blockchain general-purpose prediction market running on Ethereum.

Anyone knows anything about it? Gwern..?

Yes, I've paid close attention to Truthcoin and it. They are both interesting projects with a chance of success although it's hard to make any strong predictions or claims before they are up and running, in part because of the running feud between Paul and the Augur guys. (For example, they both seem to agree that the original consensus/clustering algorithm using SVD/PCA will not work in an adversarial setting, but will Augur's new clustering algorithm succeed? It comes with no formal proofs other than it seems to work in the simulations; Paul seems to dislike it but has not in any of his rants that I've seen explain why he thinks it will not work or what a better solution would be.)

I will probably buy a bit of the Augur crowdsale so I can try it out myself.
