Why do I find nasal female voices so sexy? Even languages that emphasise nasality are sexy to me, like Chinese or French, whereas their language group companions with other linguistic similarities do not (e.g. Spanish in the case of French). Is there anything I can do to downregulate my nasal voice fetish?

Why do you want less of something you like?

Presumably "nasal voices" aren't a terminal goal for clarity, and he'd like it to stop clouding his judgement of other characteristics that are more important in finding someone he enjoys.

Yes that's right

I want more of something I like, but on the precondition that I want to like something I like. However, there is nothing I like that I have reason to like exclusive of all other likes so if I can like something less, all else constant, it becomes easier for me to satisfy my like for the remainder of things. Therefore, it is instrumental to my terminal goals to like goals in both strict preferences and to eliminate them in decreasing order of preference
