Why do this? Cause intelligence isn't a terminal goal. For most people, health is.

What makes you assume that you will get healthier if you do something to get less intelligent?

Health is no more of a terminal goal for me than intelligence is. Both of them are just useful for other things.

Maybe this depends on how you define "health". Many common ways of being unhealthy involve pain, tiredness, nausea, etc. Freedom from those things seems pretty much a terminal goal (at least for me). So, even if health isn't a terminal goal, not having symptoms of ill-health probably is. (Again, for me, but I doubt I'm unusual in this respect.)

I agree, but in that way intelligence is also a terminal goal; I like the feeling of understanding things and it seems to me this is pretty closely connected to intelligence. Of course I realize that it is possible to be so unintelligent that you incorrectly feel that you understand everything; but that is more like being in bad health and taking drugs that make you feel good.
